Description: Parking lots delineated from 2016 aerial imagery. ```CAPTURE CRITERIA: Parking polygons are compiled in 2D. This feature includes outlines of paved, impervious parking lots with an area greater than or equal to 400 square feet. The entrance into the lot is included and the feature connects to adjacent roads. Pervious features within parking lots (i.e. islands) that are greater than or equal to 50 square feet are captured. This layer does not include on-street parking or parking garages (the latter are captured by the building roofprints layer). When sidewalk polygons meet a parking apron, the sidewalk breaks and the parking polygon continues, unless the sidewalk visibly crosses the parking area. Dumpster areas in the parking lot are included. ```ATTRIBUTION: Unique ID, Type (Impervious, Pervious, Mixed). ```CHANGE FEATURES: This dataset is an update to previously collected data. Features were originally delineated from 2014 aerial imagery and updated using 2016 imagery to create this dataset. Examples of change that are captured include but are not limited to: new features, change in attribution, and modifications that reach or exceed the threshold for initial collection of this feature. If studying change in the region, refer to the change status attribute to see additions and modifications. Additions refer not only to truly new features in the built environment but also to features that are added based on a larger extent of capture. Please refer to extent shapefiles for 2014 and 2016 feature captures before doing change analysis. Modifications are marked even if only a small portion of the feature has been changed. ```SOURCE DATA: This feature was compiled from DRCOG 2016 Denver Regional Aerial Photography Project (DRAPP) imagery. This imagery is 4-band RGBIR color orthoimagery with a GSD (Ground Sample Distance) of 0.5 foot for 3-inch imagery, 1 foot for 6-inch imagery, and 2 feet for 12-inch imagery. Imagery was collected in the spring with a Vexcel Ultracam Eagle aerial sensor. Imagery is projected in the State Plane Coordinate System, Colorado Central Zone using the Lambert Conformal Conic map projection parameters.
